The two major goals of the library instruction program in Blackwell Library are to support classroom instruction by helping students find and use information related to course assignments and to foster lifelong learning in students by teaching information literacy skills and research techniques.
 
Faculty librarians
welcome the chance to work with Salisbury University faculty to inform, assist and educate SU students and this collaboration comes in a variety of formats, all informed by the basic protocols of Information Literacy (IL), as outlined in ALA, ACRL, and Middle States policies.

Online Library Tutorial - a 30 minute tutorial highlighting library services and resources, where to find them and how they function.

Workshops, Classes and Tours - opportunities to tour campus libraries and participate in workshops on research-related resources

Subject Guides and Handouts - guides for doing research on specific subjects
